Peak Performance’s Principal, R. Aaron Eidt, is one of the industry’s leading experts on process gas chromatographs (process GCs). With a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Chemistry, and decades of experience designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and analyzing the performance of process GCs, he offers clients the depth of knowledge and practical advice they need to improve the performance and reliability of the process analyzers in their facilities.
It’s a field he knows well after more than 25 years with Dow Chemical, and nearly a decade as a consultant. As Dow’s global specialist in process GCs, process analyzer validation systems, and analyzer data quality, Aaron led the company’s global effort to maximize the value impact of process GCs in plants worldwide. That experience serves Aaron’s current clients well, as he is skilled at identifying the root causes of analyzer underperformance, and in helping facilities find ways to extract maximum value from their process analyzers.
While working for Dow Chemical, Aaron also:
- Developed and validated process GC methods for multiple petrochemical businesses
- Specialized in process analyzer troubleshooting and data quality improvement
- Co-created and taught a comprehensive process GC technical training course to more than 120 employees
- Authored or co-authored approximately 80 internal research reports and external publications
- Served as a Business Process Expert for the implementation of Sadara Chemical’s Analyzer Information Management System (AIMS) in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

In most cases, our consulting solutions, and technical support services, are delivered remotely to our clients – saving them the time delays and costs of travel. Typically, Aaron is able to pinpoint the source of a problem by examining key data from your process GCs, and then working remotely with your on-site maintenance technicians to fix the issue. If preferred, however, he can travel to your site to work intimately with your staff to deliver the solutions you need.
